The Art Bystander presents
ZAHRA HOLM
Blugiallo, Birger Jarlsgatan 2, Stockholm, Sweden
Zahra Holm (b. 1989) is a contemporary artist living and working between Stockholm and Paris.
Her practice centers on the human form. Through bold color and fluid, curvilinear compositions, Holm explores the sensuality, strength, and emotional depth of the body. Oscillating between figuration and semi-abstraction, her paintings invite an intimate and personal connection with the viewer.
Expressive, gestural brushstrokes act as manifestations of the subconscious, reflecting a dialogue between the human soul and nature — a presence that is constant in her work. For Holm, nature is inseparable from body and spirit.
In her recent works, she turns toward more intimate, symbolically charged compositions, where movement and color convey both physical motion and the interior landscape of thought and sensation.
Holm has exhibited internationally, including in Paris, London, and Mexico City. Her work has been featured in Femmes d’Art, Milk Magazine, Vogue, Vanity Fair, and Ideat, among others, and she collaborates with hotels, restaurants, and global brands such as Chloé. Her collector base continues to expand internationally.
